SPICE Circuit Handbook

Product Description
The expert guidance needed to customize your SPICE circuitsOver the past decade, simulation has become an increasingly integral part of the electronic circuit design process. This resource is a compilation of 50 fully worked and simulated Spice circuits that electronic designers can customize for use in their own projects. Unlike traditional circuit encyclopedias Spice Circuit Handbook is unique in that it provides designers with not only the circuits to use but the techniques to simulate their customization.

I believe that the previous reviewer misunderstood what this book is about and it's intent. As it says in the Introduction:"Simply, this book is a compilation of all manners of electronic circuits. Such compilations are not unusual; in fact, there are several excellent circuit encyclopedias on bookshelves. However, this book goes one step further. Instead of simply presenting the circuit to the reader, a SPICE schematic and the equivalent hardware performance are also provided, along with an explanation of the intricacies of the development of an accurate SPICE model for the circuit in question. This format benefits the reader in numerous ways. The reader can emulate the correlation techniques introduced in this book in order to make their own specific SPICE models accurately mimic the behavior of their hardware."
This is a circuit handbook, as it is reported to be, which is NOT a book about SPICE or SPICE modeling. For that, you should read Steve Sandler's other books.
The SPICE Circuit Handbook shows how SPICE can be used to assemble various circuits and compares the measured results of the circuit with the results of the most popular simulators. This was done to show that SPICE can provide very accurate results as well as to provide a relative comparison of the performance of the simulators as measured by both accuracy and simulation speed.
Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "SPICE Circuit Handbook" are high quality item. You can read each testimony from consumers to find out cons and pros from SPICE Circuit Handbook ...
